Hole Saw Arbor Set — Aerospace-Grade 17-4 Stainless, Tight-Access, 4-Piece (with 1/4” & 1/8” Pilots)

Get your hole saw into places the factory never intended. This 4-piece set is built from heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel—the same alloy trusted in aerospace hardware—for maximum strength, wear resistance, and dimensional stability. These arbors are made for real sheet-metal work, not showroom benches.

What’s in the set

  • 2 × Small-diameter arbors (3/8" Hole Saw bits) — 1/8" pilot
    • One for threaded 90° angle drills
    • One with a 1/4" shank for standard drill chucks
  • 2 × Large-diameter arbors (1/2" Hole Saw bits) — 1/4" pilot
    • One for threaded 90° angle drills
    • One with a 1/4" shank for standard drill chucks
  • Over-engineered carry case with dedicated slots for clean accessibility and positive tool control

Why you’ll like it

  • Tight-access geometry: Short overall length to slip past ribs, bulkheads, and corners
  • Aerospace-grade durability: Machined from 17-4 stainless steel—resists galling, distortion, and fatigue for a tool that outlasts mild-steel arbors.
  • Clean, controlled cuts: Built for cutting perfect holes in aluminum—perfect for install work and field mods.
  • Grab-and-go simplicity: Two sizes, two drive styles. The inhouse made case keeps your tools organized and ready to work.

Compatibility

Designed to mate with standard sheet-metal hole saw systems, including Blair®-style cutters and similar offerings from other manufacturers. Blair® is a registered trademark of its owner; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

Quick start — tight-access drilling

  1. Pick your drill: Got enough clearance for your standard drill? Use the shank arbor. Need an angle head? Use the threaded 90° arbor.
  2. Select your Hole Saw bit and arbor: For 5/16" to 7/8" holes, run the 3/8" arbors. Going larger than 7/8"? Grab the 1/2" arbors.
  3. Drill the pilot:
    • Using the 3/8" arbor? Drill a 1/8" (or #30) pilot.
    • Using the 1/2" arbor? Drill a 1/4" pilot.
  4. Cutting the hole: insert your Whiskey Victor arbor to your drill with the hole saw of choice and cut—steady feed, proper lube—for clean, perfect round holes in tight spaces. Don't forget the 2 included washers for a slip joint or it turns into a 1 time use tool!

Warnings and Cautions

  • WARNING—ROTATING CUTTING TOOL. Misuse can hurt you or the work. (This ain’t a fidget spinner.)
  • Trained users only. Eye/hand protection on. (Gloves off around spinning stuff.)
  • Material limits: Aluminum & thin non-ferrous sheet only. Not for steel/stainless/titanium. (Wrong alloy = bad day.)
  • Tool limits: Drills only. No impact drivers. Verify thread engagement & pilot size. Secure the work. Use cutting fluid.
  • Inspect often: If it’s bent, chipped, or sketchy, it’s scrap. (When in doubt, throw it out.)
  • By using this product, you assume all risks and agree Whiskey Victor Tools isn’t liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages. (We make tools, not promises.)
  • Keep away from kids and curious coworkers.
  • Speed & feed: Moderate RPM, steady pressure. Hear chatter? Back off and slow down. (Heat kills cutters.)
  • Workholding: Clamp it, back it, then cut it. (Measure twice, drill once, deburr always.)
  • Aircraft work: Follow OEM/IPC/FAA guidance. You’re the installer—you verify airworthiness.
  • Warranty (short & sweet): If it’s defective in materials or workmanship within 60 days, we’ll repair, replace, or refund—our call. No other warranties, express or implied (including merchantability or fitness).
  • Whiskey Victor Tools isn’t liable for injury, property damage, lost time, lost profits, or any special/indirect stuff.
  • Assumption of risk & hold-harmless: Spinning cutters are spicy. By using this, you accept the risks and agree to hold us harmless if things go sideways from misuse or non-compliant use.
